Helmholtz Young Investigator Group

Core-collapse supernovae: nuclei and matter at the extremes

This group is headed by Almudena Arcones and funded by the Helmholtz Association. You can find us at the Technische Universität Darmstadt in the Theory Center of the Institut für Kernphysik or at the theory group of GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung.

Our research goal is to understand the origin of heavy elements in the universe.

530. WE-Heraeus-Seminar: Nuclear masses and nucleosynthesis. Organizers: Almudena Arcones, George Bertsch, and Klaus Blaum. The seminar will be held in Bad Honnef (Germany), April 23-26, 2013.
