Scope of the meeting

The aim is to assemble experimentalists and theorists doing research in the area of dense and hot QCD matter. Recent developments in the following fields will be discussed:

  • Lattice and continuum approaches to QCD thermodynamics
  • Probes of dense and hot matter in relativistic nuclear collisions
  • Dynamics of nuclear collisions: equilibration, collective motion, and freeze-out
  • Dense matter in compact stars

Organizational information

The number of participants is limited to about 70. Sessions will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program will consist of invited talks and selected contributions.

We charge a workshop fee of 130 €.

The workshop takes place at the Darmstädter Haus (formerly "Waldemar-Petersen-Haus") . Please note important travel information. Current weather conditions can be viewed at the webcam of Hotel Birkenhöhe.
