Welcome to "Strong Interactions and Ultracold Atoms"

We investigate strongly interacting quantum systems using quantum field theory and dispersion theory. In particular, we apply effective field theories and renormalization group methods to cold atoms/molecules with large scattering length as well as weakly-bound systems in nuclear and particle physics. Such systems show a large degree of universality and share many common features. The spectrum of light nuclei up to mass number 4, for example, shares many features with artificially engineered few-body molecules in experiments with ultracold atoms.
