The purpose of the midterm is to test your understanding of the material
covered, up through the material required for the last homework
assignment before the midterm.
What you can bring to the midterm:
Calculator: scientific calculators are fine.
Pen/pencil/whiteout: as much as you like, do not forget
Translation dictionary
One page, back and front, of hand written notes. Use standard letter
paper or A4 paper or anything smaller.
My advice is to use the writing of your notes for the exam as a study
technique.
